The hoops hype around here continues to grow and there is no better proof than when you have to put your money down. I got an email yesterday from a friend of mine that had four seats in the balcony to this year's NCAA tournament in Boise. They were going for about $185 each and only three of the seats were together (the other was a row behind).
Before I could even check if I could make it the tickets were gone. Less then 15 minutes over email.
Checking the UofI game on the 18th, the best seats available right now are apparently in the mezzanine. And according to several sources, last night's Capital vs. Centennial game was packed. Is this town turning back into a basketball town?
