Corey Williams to take head coaching job at Lewiston HS

The Lahontan Valley News is reporting that Corey Williams will replace Dave Cornelia as the Lewiston High School boys basketball coach. Cornelia retires after winning the first state championship at Lewiston since 1948.

Sounds like a coach any school would be happy to have. I doubt if expectations run real high at Lewiston, having lost 10 players from a championship team and the first one since 1948. It was a great season for Cornelia and he deserved it.
