Three teams from Idaho Select headed to Seattle/Bellevue from Boise around 10:30 am this morning. Things generally go pretty smooth when we travel, even though one of our vehicles happened to have a flat tire. After a little help from the guys at Bruneel Tire, we were on the road.
This tournament in question is the Northwest Premier Showcase, head quartered at Bellevue Community College. This the fourth year we've been playing in this tournament. This thing has really come a long way. When we started, it was simply to get us some warm up for the Las Vegas and Los Angeles tournaments. But now, with the teams that come in and the amount of college coaches that attend, it has become a big part of our summer tour.
Tomorrow, pool play begins. I expect all of our teams to face some serious competition. More about that and how the tournament has progressed tomorrow. Its late, I've just lost $5 to the other coaches in our poker tournament so its time to get some sleep.
