I got a Tweet yesterday from the Spokane Hoopfest announcing they have grown even bigger this year. The world famous 3 on 3 tournament in Washington has broken their own record with over 6,600 teams signed up for the June 27-28 event! If you haven't attended, I highly recomend it.

If you are currious about the event, here is a video describing it:

The question now is: why not us? Boise and the Treasure Valley is a fantastic community, similar in demographic to Spokane, with the same access to hotels, airports, etc. We have the structure to support it and all the amenities to make it happen.

I, too, share Vince's vision. Growing up in the Spokane area and participating in Hoopfest many-a-time, there's no reason Bam Jam can't can't be the Treasure Valley's version of what I like to call the best two-day event of the year, hoops fan or not, in the northwest.

Boise- in my humble opinion - is a lot cleaner than Spokane and the airport is actually close to downtown. Spokane's airport is out there a ways.

And let's not forget the economic boost it could bring to the area. The Lilac City is reaping the fruits and so would Boise.
