Vallivue High School's Katelin Shannon has officially signed her letter of intent to continue her basketball career at nearby College of Idaho in Caldwell, the school announced on Monday.
This isn't exactly breaking news (see Jesse Zentz's compilation of District III athletes continuing their athletic careers in college) but today's announcement made it official.
Shannon was a four-year letter-winner for the Falcons. The team qualified for the state tournament each year, including a 4A state championship in 2006.
The Lady Coyotes lose four seniors, including All-American (and Grangeville High alum) Christon Vander Esch, from a team that went 29-5 last year.
