We published this earlier so it may be slightly out of date. But, it still gives a snapshot of how the college programs around Idaho are doing this season.

Possibly the most impressive amount of improvement amongst all schools, the Vandals and new head coach Don Verlin have proven that they are maybe the best men's program in the state. They have beaten Boise State twice and Nevada in Reno. Their only in-state loss was to Idaho State. Idaho currently sits in fifth place in the WAC (13-13, 6-6).

Boise State University
The Broncos have been up and down this year. Winning their first 7 games, they built up momentum to the point where they welcomed Utah State to Taco Bell Arena and knocked off the then #17 ranked team in the nation. However, they have lost their last two games and are trying to get back on track. With 4 regular season games to go, the Broncos (17-9, 7-5) can still hit the 20 win mark.

The Bengals play arguably one of the most difficult schedules in the Big Sky Conference with several games against Big 10, Pac 10 and Mountain West opponents. Idaho State (10-18, 7-7) has done well, even beating Utah in Pocatello. They sit in fourth place in the conference with two games remaining.

Northwest Nazarine University
The Crusaders (11-12, 3-10) currently sit in eigth place in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. They opened the season hot, winning 9 out of their first 11 games but have struggled a bit of late. Help is on its way as their four remaining games are all at home.

College of Idaho
The Yotes (16-14, 12-8) finished up their season as the #5 seed in the Cascade Conference and will open up tournament play tomorrow in Olympia, WA against Evergreen State.

Lewis Clark State College
The Warriors, with one more regular season game remaining, already know that they will enter the Frontier Conference Tournament as the #6 seed. LCSC (11-12, 5-8) finishes up their season at home next week against league leading Westminster.

College of Southern Idaho
The Golden Eagles (20-8, 7-6) are in fourth place in the Scenic West Athletic Conference and can move closer to the top with three games remaining, two against #9 ranked Salt Lake City CC.

The Cardinals (25-3, 10-3) are having a great season, currently ranked #15 in the nation and tied for the lead in the Scenic West Athletic Conference.
